Noise Induced Hearing Loss is a common but preventable hearing loss. Worldwide 16% of disabling hearing loss is caused by exposure to noise, many more will have tinnitus or milder hearing losses.

Working in and around loud noise is tiring and distracting as well as damaging to the ear. However, the problem is easily addressed. Reduce the amount of noise you are exposed to.

Their are many different types of earplugs available depending on the type of environment you are in. The disposable foam or longer lasting earplugs are useful when listening to machinery or communicating is not important. For situations when you need to reduce the level of noise but still be able to communicate with others or monitor machinery then 'filtered' products would be more suitable.

For the best protection then we recommend custom ear protection. These can filtered with a range of different filters to suit your working environment.
